How do I know if the membrane is contaminated?
The following are common symptoms of pollution:
At standard pressure, water production decreases;
In order to achieve the standard water yield, the operating pressure must be increased;
The pressure drop between inlet water and concentrated water increases;
The weight of the membrane element increases;
The membrane removal rate changed significantly (increased or decreased);
When the element is removed from the pressure vessel, water is poured on the water side of the upright membrane element. Water cannot flow through the membrane element, but only overflows from the end face (indicating that the inlet channel is completely blocked).
